ABOUT US

Since February 2011, we have been in business. Oakwood Training Ventures is a start-up training and executive coaching firm. We are mentored by some very senior industry professionals and academicians, many of whom are also our key facilitators.

As a start-up we set up a home-based office, to keep costs low, which we have duly registered with statutory authorities. We also have signed up with Regus virtual offices for usage of their facilities across India as and when needed. As a team of professionals, we collaborate on a regular basis for all domain specific training programmes. Most of our work is online which minimises the need for a separate commercial premises and additional overheads.

So far, we have delivered three workshops. The first workshop was on Stress Management for Housewives (Feb 2011) in which we have had six participants. The second workshop was on Finance for Non-Finance Executives (Mar. 2011) in which we have had 24 participants and the third workshop was on Customer Satisfaction for Bankers (June 2011) in which we had 31 participants from five banks.

We have a series of workshops ready to be delivered between September 2011 and March 2012. Some of the workshops are high-value workshops meant exclusively for senior executives in the top management cadre, while the remaining are economically priced workshops meant for junior and mid-level managerial staff.

We work in five major domains, apart from an academic programme which we are re-developing so that it fits into the curriculum.

About our trainers

In each of the domain we work in, Quality and Safety being considered separately, we have a list of competent trainers who have an average of 20 years of experience.

In Banking, the average experience of our facilitators is around 30 years with leading PSU banks and staff training colleges.

For Quality and Safety standards, we are partners of Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA) in Mumbai and comply with their delivery schedule and practices. The training modules and the trainers are from LRQA who work as per their uniform global standards.
